One of Cillian Murphy's most beloved characters in a horror franchise is back, and a new clip from the sets of A Quiet Place III in his rugged survival gear just reminded everyone of that. The Irish actor portrays Emmett, a friend of John Krasinski's late character Lee Abbott, in the 2021 film A Quiet Place Part II, with Emily Blunt. Together with the main character, Evelyn, the hardened survivor survived the sequel, preparing him to confront the terrifying, deaf beasts once more in A Quiet Place Part III.

And the new look from the clip just suggests how intense this confrontation will be for Murphy’s character.

While Cillian Murphy’s set photos had already surfaced online earlier in the month, this new video gives more information about his character and his overall role in A Quiet Place III. The video surfaced on Instagram on an account by the name keri_nyc, a digital creator who shares stories and events happening in New York City. Captioned “Cillian Murphy at the set of A Quiet Place Part III in NYC,” the video depicted Cillian Murphy in semi-military attire, slinging an automatic a****** rifle in one hand, and a flare in the other, surrounded by some military personnel.

The streets of New York were distinctly visible in the video, suggesting that at some point in the movie, the action shifts to the Big Apple.

The audiences were waiting for his return as anticipation for the third film grew after the A Quiet Place sequel in 2020. The frequent updates from the set of the third installment only reassure them that it was worth the wait of almost six years for Emmett’s and Evelyn’s return in the alien horror franchise.

Anyhow, the significance of New York City has been growing more and more serious, with the earlier dropped images also belonging to the streets of NYC.

Cillian Murphy was seen filming in New York City with fellow new cast member and co-star of 28 Years Later, Jack O'Connell. Here too, the Oppenheimer actor maintained his rugged look, fitting for a survival thriller. The photos showcased him and O’Connell running away from imminent danger.

A Quiet Place Part III's plot has not yet been disclosed. O'Connell is portraying a soldier, but no one knows who he is. Sinners and the first two 28 Years Later films are among the actor's prior horror film credits. Jason Clarke from A House of Dynamite and Katy O'Brian from Love Lies B******* have also been cast in unidentified roles. Anyhow, Cillian Murphy’s set video gives us something to go by while everyone waits for the movie to drop.
