The series finale delivered one of television's most devastating moments when Zendaya's Rue Bennett died from a fentanyl overdose, just 45 minutes into the episode, while Jacob Elordi's Nate met his end in the penultimate episode.

Chase Infiniti is staying offline to preserve the finale experience

Chase Infiniti, the breakout star of Hulu's The Testaments, admitted she's still actively avoiding Instagram to prevent seeing spoilers for HBO's Euphoria finale. At the red carpet of Monday's Gotham Awards, when Variety asked if she'd watched the series conclusion, Infiniti confessed.

"I haven't watched it yet. I'm so behind, but I've been getting spoiled on my Instagram like I know everybody else has so I'm like trying to avoid it so I can watch the new season". The actress also revealed her conflicted relationship with spoilers. When asked if she's sensitive about them.

"Sometimes, like I feel like depending on what the story is, sometimes I'm like, just tell me I can't. I can't wait, and then sometimes I'm like, oh what I like. I have to wait to see it to witness it". Infiniti is deliberately staying off social media to experience the devastating conclusion fresh.

Her confession highlights how pervasive spoilers have become in the social media age, showing how even industry insiders are forced to disconnect to preserve the emotional impact of major television moments.
