parenting style.

Now, Charlamagne has chimed in with his thoughts on how the Smiths handle
matters surrounding their children.


JADA PINKETT SMITH AND HER PARENTING APPROACH

The Breakfast Club host was speaking exclusively on the Brilliant Idiot podcast.
During the podcast, Charlamagne was asked if celebrity children can have normal
childhoods. As examples, he highlighted Willow Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. The
actress has dedicated an entire chapter of her memoir, Worthy, to her daughter.

Emphasizing on the wise nature of Willow Smith, the host applauded how she had
the courage to set the boundaries at a young age. She not only rejected an offer
to star in Annie but also shaved her head during the ‘Whip My Hair’ tour.



Willow Smith was quite self-aware, according to the host. As a result, she did
not proceed with the casting and informed her mother that she did not wish to
participate. Furthermore, according to the memoir the film was “too much” labor
for her, and she just wanted to be a child. Charlamagne went on to say that
parents should accept their children’s preferences since it is how a child may
have a normal childhood.

On October 26, The Breakfast Club host rushed to Instagram to defend Jada
Pinkett Smith’s memoir, Worthy. He also chastised the media and web portals for
propagating misinformation about the “painfully honest” book by the Madagascar
actress. The backstory is that her book was labeled a “flop” by the media due to
its poor placement on the Amazon Best Sellers’ main page. The book is presently
ranked 89 on the list, which measures a book’s success based on sales.

the media.” In addition, he mentioned some facts that contradicted the popular
belief. The book had debuted at number 3 on the New York Times best-seller
list. This along with the fact that almost everyone was hooked to the noise
surrounding the same is enough proof that Jada’s memoir was far from a flop.
