Can You Stream Michael Jackson Biopic Online? Here’s Your Guide to Watch the Movie at Home

The biopic on Michael Jackson, Michael, has been an immense success upon its arrival. After opening with $97 million, the film has continued to gain traction, crossing $217 million worldwide. It has already surpassed the opening weekend earnings of one of the biggest and highest-grossing music biopics, Bohemian Rhapsody. If these numbers are any indication, it looks like the film will continue to grow at the box office in the coming weeks.
With the movie's massive popularity, it is clear that the fandom would want to rewatch the movie from the comfort of their home. But while the movie dominates in theaters, will it be available to stream online?

Michael, starring Jaafar Jackson, is available for preorder on Amazon. The DVD version is priced at $29.96. Prime members on Amazon can have movies delivered to their homes for free. Now, those who are not Prime Members will require at least $35 on their order for free shipping.
The movie is also available on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Steelbook. While the 4K steelbook on Amazon is priced at $34.99, the Blu-ray version is $39.99. Much like the movie's success in theaters, it is expected to rack up massive amounts for the versions online, too.

As of now, the movie is sending ripples, setting a new bar for music biopics. Even in the United Kingdom, the movie made £11.6m upon its debut, surpassing Bohemian Rhapsody, starring Rami Malek, which made £6.4m on its release. And the number will certainly continue to rise in the future.
This massive success has also sparked the conversation on the chances of a sequel to the biopic.
Michael Jackson's biopic expected to set new bar for musical biopics
Whispers of a sequel to Michael have been circling for some time now, and for good reason. One film alone can scarcely cover Michael Jackson’s life, which is a story that feels as expansive and layered as the legend himself. And this comes, although musical biopics have rarely embraced the idea of a sequel, making the conversation all the more intriguing.

Now, the debate has been reignited by Michael’s success. Early on, Lionsgate had suggested that the possibility of a sequel would hinge on how the first film performed. Later, Jaafar Jackson, who portrays his uncle, Michael Jackson, in the film, told Entertainment Tonight that a follow-up is in the works. While there is chatter on a sequel, Lionsgate has yet to officially confirm whether a sequel will move forward.
