The massive success of Brooke Shields’ You're Killing Me on Acorn TV quickly earned it a green light for a second installment. Brooke Shields announced a panel at the ATX Television Festival in Austin alongside her co-star Amalia Williamson. AMC Studios President Dan McDermott explained that the show has been a huge hit on the platform, becoming the #1 series launch of all time, and expressed excitement for season 2. Shields, who announced the news, also spoke about the chance to reunite with the cast and crew for another season.
“I'm thrilled to be collaborating once again with the talented Robin Bernheim, and having the opportunity to act opposite Amalia Williamson and Tom Cavanagh has been a dream,” she said in a statement (via Deadline).
She further added, “I promise we will continue to deliver the show you all fell in love with... even if it kills me."
Production is set to begin later this year. While there is excitement about the show’s return for another season, attention remains focused on Season 1, which features six intense episodes, with the finale scheduled for release on June 22, 2026.
