With Backrooms hype reaching new heights, people are now speculating about whether the creepy horror setting can make way for another movie. In addition to creating intrigue based on its disturbing concept, Backrooms has created intrigue due to the large amount of mystery that surrounds the movie, which still needs to be unraveled.

Chiwetel Ejiofor and Renate Reinsve star in A24’s adaptation of Backrooms from director Kane Parsons. If Backrooms 2 gets the green light, both actors could potentially return, depending on where the story goes next. Nevertheless, no casting details for a sequel have yet been officially confirmed. 

The Backrooms universe is so big that the cast of a sequel could look very different than the first movie. Backrooms 2 could also feature a brand new cast of characters, in addition to any returning faces, which would give the story a chance to explore new angles.
