Aubrey Plaza and Christopher Abbott have welcomed their first child. The two have turned heads this year for their romance as well as their professional work. While Plaza worked on The Accompanist, Abbott has been occupied with his Broadway play. However, just a few months ago, Plaza made headlines for her pregnancy news.

She later confirmed the pregnancy to PEOPLE. And last month, the couple welcomed the new member to their family.

As per TMZ, Aubrey Plaza was reportedly seen holding an infant in her arms during a rare appearance on the streets of New York. A source who spoke to the outlet claimed that the actress gave birth to her child in the last week of July. However, there has been no official confirmation, and neither Plaza nor her partner, Christopher Abbott, has shared an update, photo, or response to the news.

As per TMZ's reports, Plaza and Abbott first met while working on the 2020 film Black Bear. They later reunited for the Off-Broadway revival of Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, written by John Patrick Shanley. The play ran at the Lucille Lortel Theatre from late 2023 into 2024. Much of this year has kept Plaza busy with the release of her animated series Kevin, which she co-created with Joe Wengert for Amazon Prime Video.

However, the show was canceled after its first season. This comes more than a year after an especially emotional time for Plaza, who struggled with grief following the death of her former husband, Jeff Baena. She later opened up about her experience and the challenges she faced while grieving during an appearance on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast.

While Plaza's friends and co-stars have yet to publicly comment on the reported birth, Chris Pratt previously shared his well wishes for the actress after news of her pregnancy broke.
