The Terminator actor was invited to one of the first screenings of Guardians of
the Galaxy Vol.3 not just as Chris Pratt’s father-in-law but as an exemplary
pioneer of science fiction. Schwarzenegger was over the moon after watching the
movie and especially Pratt’s performance. But it was also revealed, curtsy of
James Gunn and Chris Pratt, that the Austrian Oak cried after watching the

The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3, although being quite a rib-breaking punch of
humor, was also an emotionally packed spectacle that brought many to tears. And
if the ‘many’ in question include the embodiment of the man of steel, The
Terminator, then it is a proven gut-wrenching ride.

James Gunn made sure that he provided a perfect farewell to the group of
misfits. And he did so by giving the fans and the Guardians a happy ending. But
this in no way means that no crucial characters were harmed during the movie.
