response, King shared on the Talking Sacred podcast, “Before he died, Peter sent
me this long letter and said, ‘We aught to do the third one’”. The prospect of
this project entails incorporating both his and Straub’s individual ideas. This
will potentially result in a lengthy book if King summons the courage to see it
through. Although the first two books of the trilogy diverge significantly, they
are intricately linked by the character Jack Sawyer.

illustrious lineup, the year 2017 witnessed the emergence of a cinematic
rendition. One was his novella In the Tall Grass, penned alongside his own son.
In the year 2022, a full-fledged cinematic interpretation of Mr. Harrington’s
Phone was unveiled. This release further solidified Netflix’s presence as a
notable player in the horror genre. Thanks to their successful adaptations of
King’s literary works.
