Anne Hathaway is currently preparing to welcome baby number three with husband Adam Shulman. It has been an eventful year for the actress, starting strong with the sequel to her iconic 2006 movie The Devil Wears Prada, starring next in a third Christopher Nolan directorial, and now this. The Devil Wears Prada actress is currently sitting in her role as Penelope, Odysseus’ wife, in the movie, pleasantly reflecting her yet again reaffirmed real-life motherhood. 

The joyous news of her pregnancy has now balanced the scale of happiness on her personal and professional sides.

It is time for celebrations for Anne Hathaway, even before the release of The Odyssey. Hathaway is expecting her third child with her husband of 14 years, Adam Shulman. On Friday, June 19, the Interstellar star flaunted her growing baby bump in an Instagram video with the caption, "x Baby I’m yours x."

The Oscar winner appeared on camera, wearing a flowing white dress, and had her hands positioned strategically to hide her growing baby bump. She then dropped them to show the bumo off while beaming with joy. Barbara Lewis' song 'Baby I'm Yours,' which she also referenced in the post's description, was playing in the background during the video.

Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman tied the knot in 2012 and welcomed their first child, a son named Jonathan, in 2016. The couple was blessed with a second son in 2019, whom they decided to name Jack. Now, the actress is expecting her third child in 2026, truly proving to be a great year for the actress.

Similarly on the work front, Hathaway is having a phenomenal year not simply because of, but also beyond The Odyssey.

Anne Hathaway started 2026 with her A24 venture, Mother Mary, in April, which received mixed reviews and then quickly hit the theaters again with the massive box office hit The Devil Wears Prada 2 in May. Her upcoming slate, including Verity scheduled for October 3, has The Odyssey dropping on July 17, and The End of Oak Street on August 14. 

It is incredible that when she is having such an inspiring career run, she also has such an ecstatic development awaiting her in her personal life. Giving hits is one thing, but bringing a life into the world is a whole other thing. And it seems that Hathaway will be experiencing both this year. For now, fans are eagerly waiting to see her as Penelope in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, perhaps as a prologue to what her third time with motherhood might look like.
