Anne Hathaway may be working on promotional activities for her final movie this year, Verity, but her eyes are already set on a film where she could star opposite none other than Scarlett Johansson. The actress has previously traversed the world of fashion in The Devil Wears Prada 2 and later traveled to the land of King Ithaca as Penelope in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. But amid all this, the actress also starred in The End of Oak Street, where her character was seen battling dinosaurs.

But it seems the actress is not yet done with the prehistoric creatures, as she sets her sights on a Jurassic World movie.

Anne Hathaway, in her conversation with Good Morning Britain, shared that she would like to star in a Jurassic World movie. After starring in The End of Oak Street, the actress knows a thing or two about dinosaur movies. And she would be interested in using that experience alongside Scarlett Johansson in a movie.

"If Scarlett wants to have a brunette sidekick, I'm completely down, in Jurassic World or any other time Scarlett would like to work together,” she said. 

While Hathaway expressed her wish to work with the Black Widow actress during her conversation with Good Morning Britain, there is no confirmation of her casting. However, the good news is that a sequel to Johansson’s Jurassic World Rebirth is in the works. As reported by Variety, the same cast members, Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, and Jonathan Bailey, are set to return for the movie, with screenwriter David Koepp also expected to write the script. The studio hopes to begin production in 2027.

While there is still some time before the Jurassic World movie can arrive on screen, fans can revisit Hathaway’s new dinosaur movie on streaming platforms.

The End of Oak Street is available to rent on Amazon Prime and Apple TV for $19.99. The movie had a brief theatrical run, during which it earned a little more than $120 million against its $80-90 million budget. Now, however, the film has become one of the most-watched movies on the Apple TV Store, as reported by Collider.

The film follows a family in the suburbs whose neighborhood is suddenly transported to a time when prehistoric creatures existed. This begins the family members’ battle against dinosaurs as they struggle to survive. It could be a promising watch while waiting for the next Jurassic World movie.
