While many are still waiting for the upcoming season, Andrzej Sapkowski, the author of The Witcher books, has approved of one specific aspect of Cavill’s portrayal of Geralt of Rivia from the series.

While the series deviated from the Netflix originals in many ways, Sapkowski believes the series nailed the mark with this precise detail for the protagonist.
