While her career achievements are well known, her life away from the court is often in the background. From dating rumors to curiosity about her partner’s background and net worth, there are a lot of questions that she does not talk about openly.

As interest grows around Williams’ personal life, attention is now shifting to the man she chose to keep out of the spotlight for so long, Andrea Preti.

Venus Williams has kept her private life under wraps for years. Even as the world has watched her every move on the tennis court, she has ensured her relationships are kept out of the spotlight. That changed in July 2025 when, in a post-match interview in Washington, D.C., she announced that she was engaged to actor and producer Andrea Preti. He is estimated to have a net worth of about $1 million to $1.5 million.

Preti was born in Denmark in 1988 and grew up there before moving to Italy as a teenager. He began his career as a model and later expanded into acting and production over the years, establishing his own space in Hollywood. He also studied at the Susan Batson Academy in New York. In 2014, he wrote, directed, and starred in the film One More Day. Preti also established a profile on Italian television, appearing on popular shows like A Professor.

In 2023, he added more variety to his year with the movie Temptation and a stint on the reality show La Talpa. However, he gained wider attention after being linked to Venus Williams. Preti and Williams’ romance rumors began swirling in mid 2024 when the pair were seen on vacation together.

Venus Williams’ love life revealed as Andrea Preti steps into the spotlight

Venus Williams and Andrea Preti's dating rumors first surfaced in July 2024 when they were seen holidaying together on Italy’s Amalfi coast. The tennis legend told Vogue that they first met during Milan Fashion Week the same year.

“We met at the Gucci show. I was in Lake Como on a sister’s trip when I got an invite at the last minute and decided to go on a whim, and Andrea was tired. Neither of us was planning on being there,” Williams told Vogue in December 2025.

She first spoke about Preti in July 2025 when they got engaged and credited him for her return to tennis.

"My fiancé is here, and he really encouraged me to keep playing. He's never seen me play. There were so many times when I just wanted to coast and kind of chill. Do you know how hard it is to play tennis? He encouraged me to get through this, and it's wonderful to be here," she said during an interview with reporter Rennae Stubbs during her July 2025 Singles comeback. The couple took their relationship to the next level and got married twice last year- first in September, then in December.

Williams keeps her public success and private life in balance, even as details of her relationship with Preti surface. As they continue their journey, the couple remains a subject of interest but largely out of the spotlight.
