When Sweeney first went through the script, she was looking for ways to
improvise it. However, there was no scope whatsoever, as it is a story based on
true events. As per Yahoo Life, the Euphoria actress revealed to Big Issue
Magazine, “And then after I actually spoke with Reality, I went back and reread
it, and I saw so much of her in it.”

Meeting the actual person and interacting with her cleared a lot of doubts
Sweeney had in mind. She saw how funny Miss Winner is in real life and she
channeled it into her performance.
