Samuel L. Jackson was not impressed with the reporter’s attempt to impersonate him. Over the years, the Pulp Fiction actor has watched several actors try to do a perfect impersonation of him. However, he was quite clear when he claimed that none of them have ever been successful in doing so. But that has not stopped his fans, friends, and colleagues from trying their luck.

Perhaps that is what urged an entertainment reporter to make an attempt. However, the exchange did not go as she may have hoped.

Samuel L. Jackson recently, during a red-carpet interview for the premiere of his action thriller film The Beast, was asked by entertainment reporter Simone Boyce if he has ever come across someone who has been able to do a great impression of him. The actor denied it but took a dig at Jamie Foxx, claiming that the comedian believes he is better at it, but evidently not. That is when Boyce insisted that she could do a perfect impersonation of Jackson and made an attempt, only to get hilariously roasted by the actor.

“No, you did an impression of a bad actor trying to do a bad impression of me," he said. "That was great if that's what you were doing. But if you were really trying to do an impression of me, that was f****** horrible."

Now, for those who are well aware of the actor, Jackson has never been shy about sharing what is on his mind. While Boyce got roasted and Foxx was dismissed, Tom Hiddleston was not even mentioned during his conversation with the reporter. The Night Manager actor had once done an impersonation of Jackson as Loki, which received praise from fans but clearly no approval from the legend.

Now, the high standard set by Jackson is not surprising for an actor who still remembers his famous speech from the film Pulp Fiction.

Samuel L. Jackson recreates famous Pulp Fiction speech

Quentin Tarantino’s film Pulp Fiction, starring Uma Thurman, was released back in 1994. It has been more than three decades since the movie, but that does not mean that Samuel L. Jackson, has forgotten one of his famous lines. On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of Pulp Fiction, the actor, who was recently seen gushing over Stan Lee, took to Instagram to recite those lines.

“The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men,” Jackson is seen saying in the video.
