Just as fans predicted, the release date falls toward the end of next year. And given the fact that Deadpool 3 is paving the path for Deadpool and Wolverine to step into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the larger-than-life project is bound to take time.
Now even more so, as the decision of the upcoming flick to start filming comes as writers have gone on a strike to remind the industry that for magic to happen on the big screen, it needs to begin in the writer’s room. But looking at how it is not stopping Shawn Levy as a director and Ryan Reynolds as a producer, it either means they have the script already or that too much money has been invested in it to be delayed.

In 2016, when the first movie starring Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool came out, after a supposed leak, that the movie would break such records was unexpected, to say the least. It earned a whopping $782.6 million over a budget of $58 million. Despite the success of the first movie, the second installment was also met with skepticism that it shattered by earning $785 million worldwide.
Now that the third installment is set to release with the added value of another blockbuster star, fans are prepared to see the movie break big records with its earnings. And also with its production budget. It is not just the star power of Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds but also the fact that it is now under the territory of MCU that hints at Deadpool 3 being a big-budget movie.
