In 2021, Joe Keery starred in the adventure comedy Free Guy with the Hollywood superstar <a href="https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/ryan-reynolds/">Ryan Reynolds</a>. They shot this movie in Boston for a couple of months. In fact, the Newburyport native spoke to Boston.com in 2019 about this experience and how producer Shawn Levy went to Fenway Park, where he used to spend much time as a kid.
