The Fantastic Four, the first family of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has been widely popular in the comic world for around 60 years. The film has been adapted multiple times, but none have lived up to the expectations set by the comics. With a relaunch of the film in the works, fans can only speculate on how the MCU wants to present the characters differently than in prior adaptations. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is one of the most successful franchises in the world. It also has the most devoted and supportive following. So, when the revival was announced, fans rushed to find out who would reprise the famous characters. While some were delighted by the rumors, others were not.
