America’s Got Talent could soon pack up and leave California for another home. The City of Angels has long been a hotspot for major production companies. Numerous films and television shows have been filmed here, helping the city create plenty of jobs and work opportunities.

However, in recent months, there has been a huge shift, with several productions moving to different locations for better cinematography, financial incentives, or cost-saving reasons. Now, it seems the beloved reality series America’s Got Talent could also be the next production in line to move to a different location.

According to reports from TMZ, America’s Got Talent is reportedly set to leave California for its upcoming 22nd season. The show has filmed all of its first 21 seasons in Los Angeles. So, the decision would be a major shift in the show’s production.

America’s Got Talent is currently looking for suitable locations to film its next season. As reported by TMZ, Georgia and Nashville are currently being considered. However, nothing has been confirmed as of now.

The reason for the potential move does not come as a surprise. According to sources, the show could be relocating to cut production costs, as other locations offer better production incentives and tax credits. More recently, The Masked Singer, which had filmed in Los Angeles for several years, also moved its production to a different location.

Interestingly, the production of another show by the same company behind America’s Got Talent has already been moved to a different location.

It was recently announced that American Idol has left Los Angeles. Production of the show will now take place in Georgia. The company behind the music competition is Fremantle, which is also behind America’s Got Talent.

This development only raises further questions about whether America’s Got Talent could also move. Several films and TV series have been produced in Georgia, including Superman sequel and Chad Powers. Given the location's growing role as a production hub, it seems possible that America’s Got Talent could also make the move.

For now, fans will have to wait for an official confirmation about America’s Got Talent’s next filming location. If the move happens, it would be a major change for a show that has called Los Angeles home for more than two decades. With production costs and incentives playing an increasingly important role, it remains to be seen if America’s Got Talent could soon move to a very different place for production.
