Kim Kardashian is not ready to let her legal dreams face a trial of their own. After months of speculation about whether the reality star would ever return to the California Bar Exam, Kardashian has confirmed that becoming a lawyer remains firmly on her radar. Speaking to PEOPLE on the red carpet at the New York City premiere of All’s Fair Season 2, the SKIMS mogul made it clear that her legal aspirations are far from a closed case.

“I am always thinking about the bar,” she said.

Interestingly, Kardashian’s legal struggles have already found their way into All’s Fair. In the Season 2 trailer, her character delivers a rather cheeky nod to her real-life journey, quipping, “I didn’t pass on my first try.” The meta moment gives the legal drama a playful connection to Kardashian’s own experience, particularly after she failed the California Bar Exam in July 2025 following four years of legal apprenticeship.

However, the reality star is not rushing back into exam mode just yet.

“But I'm going to take my time and wait until the moment is right when I have some free time," she said while explaining her approach to PEOPLE.

With her next attempt reportedly planned for 2027, Kardashian appears determined to balance her packed schedule with her long-standing ambition, proving that this particular career goal is not getting dismissed without a fight.

What is Kim Kardashian busy with?

Kim Kardashian has more on her plate than defending All’s Fair against its critics, and her packed schedule is hardly making room for a career change to slow down. Between starring in Ryan Murphy’s legal drama, managing her billion-dollar shapewear empire SKIMS, filming The Kardashians, and pursuing Hollywood projects, the reality star has quite the juggling act on her hands. Yet one ambition continues to occupy her mind.

From running SKIMS and overseeing its growing business ventures to stepping into the courtroom as Allura Grant on All’s Fair, Kardashian is navigating several demanding careers simultaneously. Add raising her four children and continuing her legal studies to the mix, and her calendar practically needs its own legal representation. Still, becoming a lawyer remains unfinished business, with the California Bar Exam firmly on her agenda for 2027.
