Bruce Campbell took to X to share the news of his cancer diagnosis with fans. While he did not share any specific details about his condition, he revealed that it is treatable but not curable. Soon after his post, Kid Cudi reshared it on his own X account, along with a brief yet powerful message for The Evil Dead actor.

“We love you Bruce. Always my hero. U got this,” he wrote.

There is an entire generation that grew up watching and loving Campbell on screen as he battled demons and deadly forces in films like The Evil Dead. Over the years, he has remained actively involved in several projects, spanning movies and series. However, following his diagnosis, the actor announced that he would be taking a step back to rest and focus on recovery.

Therefore, he will pause both acting commitments and appearances at fan events for the next few months. The break is intended to help him return stronger, especially with promotions for his upcoming film Ernie & Emma. Although he will be away from the spotlight for a while, Campbell, who made a photo cameo in Sam Raimi’s Send Help, reassured fans with a powerful message.

“I'm not trying enlist sympathy - or advice-I just want to get ahead of this information in case false information gets out (which it will). Fear not, I am a tough old son-of-a-bi--- and I have great support, so I expect to be around a while,” he wrote on the post.
