The Hunting Party is set to return to begin its hunt for escaped prisoners. Season 1 of the crime drama, following former FBI profiler Bex Henderson, quickly became a fan favorite after premiering in Januar last year and left viewers with several questions. Now, the hit NBC series is back for another season, continuing its thrilling cat-and-mouse chase.

The Hunting Party follows former FBI profiler Bex Henderson, who is pulled back into a dangerous mission. She must track down violent prisoners who escaped from a secret prison in rural Wyoming due to an unexpected explosion.

In Season 1, Bex Henderson, played by Melissa Roxburgh, teams up with a group of operators, intelligence officers, and agents to hunt down the fugitives. Season 2 continues the chase, but with even more dangerous killers on the run and tougher challenges for the team. The first episode will show the team looking for the Boogeyman killer, Ron Simms.

As the task force returns for another high-risk mission, the core cast will reprise their roles. The new season will also feature unexpected reunions, including Melissa Roxburgh sharing the screen with her Manifest co-star.

Season 2 of The Hunting Party will see several familiar faces return, including Melissa Roxburgh as Bex Henderson. Patrick Sabongui (Jacob Hassani), Nick Wechsler (Oliver Odell), Josh McKenzie (Shane Florence), and Sara Garcia (Jennifer Morales) will also reprise their roles.

As for the unexpected reunion, Melissa Roxburgh’s Manifest co-star Josh Dallas is expected to appear in the eighth episode of the second season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he will play Elliott Carr, also known as the Connecticut Cobbler, in the show. So, this could be a treat for the Manifest fans.

Release date of The Hunting Party season 2

The Hunting Party Season 2 premiered on NBC on January 8, with the rest of the episodes set to follow weekly. While the first season had 10 episodes, there is currently no information on how many episodes the second season will have.

The second episode will air on January 15, 2026, followed by the third episode on January 22, 2026. Releasing in 2026, The Hunting Party will continue the legacy of twisted thrillers while ensuring plot twists and challenges.
