at the Telluride Film Festival. Immediately, the film ended up being named one
of the top ten independent films of the year by the National Board of Review.
Ever since then, the world has been patiently waiting for the film that is
scheduled to release on December 22nd. While the excitement has only been
increasing as the date draws closer, the chemistry between both stars became the

Although the film initially focused on Scott’s character and his struggles, it
soon turned into something much bigger once Mescal’s character got acquainted

only one can have the title. While Barry Keoghan’s performance in the film is
well-deserving of an Oscar, the same could be said for Andrew Scott and Paul
Mescal. With Jacob Elordi being the only one playing it a little safe, there is
a high possibility that Scott and Mescal’s chemistry could push their film over
the top.
