Sylvester Stallone is not shying away from sharing his bold stance on Artificial Intelligence. The actor is among the many in Hollywood who have opened up about their views on the technology. While some have condemned the tool, others are still exploring its potential, and some have begun to embrace it.

Stallone belongs to the latter group and has openly expressed his desire to incorporate AI into his films. He has even made a bold pitch for the technology. Although he acknowledges that embracing AI could be risky, Stallone believes it is a risk worth taking for one reason.

Sylvester Stallone defends Artificial Intelligence

Sylvester Stallone, in his interview on The Overlap podcast, explained his views on how Artificial Intelligence has already entered the entertainment industry. Rather than expressing enthusiasm for the technology, the actor described it as an “avalanche” and warned that people must learn to adapt to the changes it brings. His comments come after his pitch for a film featuring a half-human, half-AI character reportedly garnered backlash.

“I would take that risk, even though you get blasted bombastically from the creative community. And their [complaints are] right!” he said.

“It’s an avalanche. It’s just out of our control. If you don’t go with it, you will be trampled by it,” he said.

The actor agrees with artists and creative professionals who oppose the growing use of Artificial Intelligence in the entertainment industry. However, he has also warned about the technology’s potential to take over the industry and added that it will be difficult for an actor to make a career. During the interview, he revealed that he has even encouraged his daughter, Scarlet Rose Stallone, who is an actress, to explore other ventures.

As for his bold movie pitch, Stallone did not specify the project. But he has previously suggested using AI to portray a younger version of himself as Rambo. The actor has always been candid about his views and personal experiences.
