<p>In the ever-evolving landscape of the DC Universe, the excitement has continued to build as James Gunn unveils new looks for iconic characters. The world recently saw Nicholas Hault get added to the cast of <em>Superman: Legacy</em> as Lex Luther. While no one may have been ready for there to be progress in the film without <a href="https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/henry-cavill/">Henry Cavill</a>, it looks like the show will continue to go on with David Corenswet after all.</p>
<p>However, shortly after that news came out, DC fans were given something else to look forward to. At least now they were given a peek at Colin Farrell&#8217;s <em>The Batman</em> spin-off.</p>
<h2>Colin Farrell&#8217;s new look in The Penguin</h2>
<p>In a post on X (formerly Twitter), it was recently revealed that Colin Farrell would be getting a new, suave look for his upcoming Max series, <em>The Penguin.</em> Evidently, it was a complete upgrade from his last costume. The news came shortly after it was revealed that the actor&#8217;s show would be going back into production mode shortly after Thanksgiving.</p>

<p>While it may be quite a while since fans have seen Farrell in the role, the spinoff will see the star reprise his role as Oswald &#8216;The Penguin&#8217; Cobblepot. It is said that the show will depict the character&#8217;s rise to power in Gotham. The series will also show viewers that he is one of the most feared villains of the Caped Crusader. Filming for the eight-episode series was halted earlier this year due to the SAG-AFTRA strike <a href="https://www.netflixjunkie.com/hollywood-news-after-euphorias-saddening-delay-due-to-sag-aftra-strike-another-zendaya-led-project-forced-into-a-major-setback/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">like many other films and series</a>.</p>

However, the HBO content officer claimed that there would not be delays with the project.</p>
