Most of the world might know Henry Cavill as DC’s Superman or even Netflix’s Geralt of Rivia. However, the actor has since moved on to other, more diverse roles for his portfolio. After working on Matthew Vaughn’s Argylle, he moved on to the Guy Ritchie project, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. With filming wrapping up close to the end of last year, he ended up promoting the new film shortly after the release of the spy thriller.

Now, after months of teasing and a few surprising revelations about what went down on set, a first look at the movie ended up being shared online.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the first clip from Henry Cavill’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare was shared. If anyone stood unclear about what to expect from the upcoming flick, the new clip had it all and more. From humor to suspense and utter confusion, the video had all the making of an incredible film. It featured a rather hilariously unhinged scene starring Alan Ritchson, Henry Golding, Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, and the 40-year-old actor on a small boat being attacked by an enemy ship, only for them to blow it up seconds later.

Throughout the clip, not once did any of the characters seem to freak out at the probability of their plan going wrong. Apart from the peek into the film, it was also revealed that the highly awaited Cavill starrer would be making its way to theaters on April 19th. Shooting for the project wrapped up last year, and the post-production crew managed to piece everything together sooner rather than later, marking back-to-back big-screen outings for the ex-Superman.

Over the years, Henry Cavill has managed to build a nice guy reputation in the film industry. While the actor has been a fan favorite for years, he proved to be a cast and crew favorite as well. By gifting members of his projects with custom-themed coins and heartwarming cards, he managed to steal everyone’s heart and even got some praise from his co-stars. Although he had given various project crews tokens of appreciation, the Guy Ritchie project was different for the star as he deemed it his "favorite job to date" and claimed it was the most fun he had on set.

While Cavill might have adored all the time he spent with The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare cast and crew mates, it will not be long before the world gets to see what the director and his stars have managed to put together after all this time with a story that borders on sheer unconventionality.
