In Euphoria, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje plays a crime lord, Alamo, whom Rue crosses paths with during her errands to his mansion in the first episode. Things go down south when a stripper named Tish (Emma Kotos) dies after taking fentanyl drugs that Alamo had bought from Laurie (the dealer Rue works for). But as Rue says that she believes God brought them together, he puts her through the bizarre apple test.

“She’s cost him, you know? He feels she’s been responsible for the death of one of his girls, who was one of his biggest earners,” Akinnuoye-Agbaje told Decider. “He should dispense with her.”

If Rue survives, she is allowed to join his group, and much to her relief, she passes the test. It was an intense scene. But all in all, with an impressive debut in Euphoria and a brilliant career behind him, Akinnuoye-Agbaje will likely have more interesting roles and continue boosting his net worth.
