But recently, the SKIMS mogul surprised her fans with a startling revelation on an episode of <em>The Kardashians</em>. After shocking the world with her split from the controversial rapper, <a href="https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/kanye-west">Kanye West</a>, she proved that she does not need a man to be successful. Though the star has done an excellent job of keeping up appearances, she recently showed her fans a different side.</p>
<p>Over a year since the couple split up, Kim is finally coming clean about her struggles with being a single parent, also revealing that she had a rather surprising helping hand.</p>
<h2>Kim Kardashian admits that she struggled with being a single mom</h2>
<p>Being a parent to four kids is no easy task. But over the years, the reality star has shown the world that she is an incredible mom. However, in the recent episode of <em>The Kardashians </em>titled<em> When Is Being Me Gonna Be Okay,</em> Kim opened up about the problems she faced as a single mom right after her divorce. After admitting that she was <em>&#8220;struggling&#8221;</em> to balance her career and children, the star revealed that it was Khloe&#8217;s ex, Tristan Thompson, who helped her when she needed it most.</p>

<p>From spending all her free time with her kids to standing up for them no matter what, Kim Kardashian has never shown any signs of having a hard time. But evidently, that was not the case. She detailed how Thompson had <em>&#8220;stepped up&#8221;</em> when he realized that she was finding the change a little difficult. She further continued how the basketball star started <em>&#8220;showing up&#8221;</em> to Saint&#8217;s games and went out of his way to take her kids out to dinner.</p>

<p>Although Tristan Thompson was a helping hand for Kim during such difficult times, fans were a little thrown about the star&#8217;s sudden change in feelings toward the Cleveland Cavaliers player. Especially after he broke her sister&#8217;s heart not so long ago.</p>
<h2>From enemies to friends, Kim Kardashian&#8217;s revelation stunned the world for this reason</h2>
<p>Before Kim&#8217;s admittance about her struggles and Thompson&#8217;s help, the star despised the basketball player after a series of cheating scandals. Though it may have not involved her directly, he did end up hurting her sister, Khloe, who was pregnant at the time. Not only this, Thompson&#8217;s other cheating scandal came out when the couple opted for surrogacy. However, it seems as though Kim is ready to leave the past behind her and take the basketball star&#8217;s side.</p>

Not only this, he is also living with Khole until his house is renovated, as seen on the show.</p>
