After a month of silence about King Charles and Kate Middleton's heath

A Royal Biographer Calls Out King Charles and Kate Middleton’s Handling of Public Concern Over Their Health

2024 has not been the greatest year for the British royal family. From Kate
Middleton’s planned yet secret abdominal surgery to King Charles’ cancer
diagnosis, the public has been left rather on edge about what could happen.
While things may seem to be fine with all the royal members, a royal biographer
recently called out the monarchy for not sharing more details about the
situation.

With theories filling the internet about what type of cancer the 75-year-old
could have and people worried about the Princess of Wales, the biographer asked
for the royals to reveal the truth instead of the ongoing suspense over their
health.

ROYAL BIOGRAPHER CRITICIZES KATE MIDDLETON AND KING CHARLES FOR CAUSING A FRENZY

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Sally Bedell Smith shared
[https://people.com/royal-family-turmoil-demands-mount-transparency-kate-middleton-king-charles-health-issues-exclusive-8604620]
her thoughts on how King Charles and Kate Middleton had handled the public’s
concern over their health issues. The royal biographer said that the lack of
details had caused “uncertainty” among the British people. She also added that
it was important for the 75-year-old and “his reign” to address the concerns.

Apart from that, Smith also quoted the late Queen Elizabeth and said that they
“need to be seen to be believed.” With Middleton recovering at the moment, the
responsibility might fall solely on the King. However, a month since the
revelation of the diagnosis, there has been no update about what it is. Despite
speculations flying around about the state of the royals, other members have
recently been casting a dim light on what could be going on behind the scenes.

in a few months, it looks like a few other royals like Queen Camilla and Prince
William might be taking some time away from their responsibilities.

QUEEN CAMILLA AND PRINCE WILLIAM’S DISMISSAL OF ROYAL DUTIES

Since King Charles’ cancer diagnosis went public, Prince William and Queen
Camilla had to step up and take on some of the 75-year-old’s important
responsibilities. Everything seemed to go smoothly for a while. However, it was
recently revealed that the 76-year-old would be taking some time off from her
duties. The news came shortly after the Prince of Wales had canceled an
appearance at a memorial service for the late former King Constantine of Greece.

With both the 41-year-old and the Queen stepping back, it could mean one of two
things. King Charles could either be gearing up to take up his royal
responsibilities again or there could be something happening behind the scenes.
While nothing has been confirmed, well-wishers of the royal family will have to
wait and see for an update to follow.
