The animated series Solar Opposites premiered on Hulu, where all six seasons are available to stream. Last year, Netflix secured the license for the show, adding the first five seasons and the holiday specials in September 2025. Following the strong performance of those episodes, Netflix will add the sixth and final season on October 13, 2026 in the US, with other regions expected on the same date. 

According to What's on Netflix, the show has racked up 111 million viewing hours globally on Netflix since its arrival. While the series is available to stream for Netflix and Hulu subscribers viewers can also purchase episodes or seasons through Amazon Prime Video. The show was co-created by Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan.

The main voice cast includes Dan Stevens, Thomas Middleditch, Sean Giambrone, and Mary Mack. Dan Stevens replaced Roiland, who no longer voices characters on the series. Kieran Culkin, Sutton Foster, Andy Daly, Tiffany Haddish, Christina Hendricks, Alfred Molina, and Charlotte Nicdao have also made guest appearances throughout the series.

Hulu has concluded Solar Opposites with Season 6, which serves as the final season of the show. As of now, there has been no confirmation about whether the series will return for another season. While the possibility of a comeback remains uncertain, fans can still binge-watch all six seasons of the animated comedy, which has quickly one of the best animated shows on Netflix.

The series follows a family of aliens who escape the destruction of Planet Shlorp and settle in America on Earth. Their mission is to patiently wait until the youngest member of the family, Pupa, is ready to terraform the planet.
