Rebecca Ferguson Spills Beans About Cillian Murphy’s Shocking Sense of Humor from 'Peaky Blinders' Set

Cillian Murphy is perhaps one of the most favorite meme faces of this era. From Oppenheimer to his interviews, his fazed-out facial expressions and reactions have become a favorite among meme lovers on social media. While the notoriously private actor may not have actively indulged in these new-generation internet trends, he does possess a unique sense of humor.
And he even showed plenty of it on the usually dark and brooding set of his new film, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, which Rebecca Ferguson recently revealed.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Rebecca Ferguson opened up about her experience working with Cillian Murphy on the film Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man. She spoke highly of the opportunity, calling it phenomenal. And when asked to share something about Murphy that most people might not know, she revealed that the actor loves to crack jokes, although clearly not the best ones.
“Oh my God, he has the most ridiculous dad jokes. Oh, he is a dad joke. Dude, I'm not kidding. You would never think it,” she told the reporter.
While Cillian Murphy often plays dark and emotionally heavy characters such as Tommy Shelby in Peaky Blinders, it seems the actor balances it by keeping a few dad jokes up his sleeve for off-screen. Even in the upcoming film, his character will once again plunge into chaos amid World War II.
The turmoil surrounding the Shelby family is the heart of the new film. And it is set to hit screens soon. The star-studded cast recently showed up for its premiere in Birmingham, England.

"The thing with Peaky is that people do tend to watch it on their own or in their house, but this is a chance for people to watch it together," Knight said, as per BBC. Now, after an incredible premiere night, chaos and drama clearly await Murphy's character, Tommy Shelby. The trailer is already out, and the film is set to release on March 20 on Netflix.
