This casting rumor is currently unconfirmed and just fan-driven. But given how a similar fan narrative once paved the way for another Stranger Things star to step into the superhero world, this one could just as easily take shape. For now, though, DC Studios and the filmmakers have made no official announcement about Maya and Ethan Hawke taking on the rumored roles of Barbara Gordon and Commissioner James Gordon. Still, fans are not ready to let go of the idea just yet.
