The ongoing Season 4 of Mayor of Kingstown has caused a lot of buzz among fans, and the conversation has leaned towards whether there will be a Season 5. Unfortunately, there is no official update yet. However, Jeremy Renner, who stars as Michael McLusky, has hinted at what the future might hold for the show after season 4.

During an interview at Florida SuperCon in July 2025, he spoke about his snowplow incident from the 2023 season and dropped what could be considered a crucial clue that the show might return for another season. The two years in his comment clearly give a season 5 to the show.

“I just did my second season we just finished since the incident, and I think I'm signing it off to finish it off in two more,” he said.

So, while Season 4 may be drawing to a close, there is still hope that the cast will return for Season 5.
