What happens when the biggest movie star in the world is sitting next to the biggest artist in the world? Either one of them gets schooled on football, and between Tom Cruise and Taylor Swift, it was the pop star schooling the Mission: Impossible prodigy.

The two were seen recently hanging out at Monday night's game between the Kansas City Chief and the Denver Broncos in Kansas City, Missouri. Since then, their viral snap has piqued curiosity among fans as to what was it that two had to discuss in the middle of the game.

And now, Cruise has answered the same.

On a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon ahead of Digger, Tom Cruise made an appearance where the host showed me the viral snippet of him and Taylor Swift engrossed in a conversation, one that has captured the attention of everyone alike. Fallon did not hold back, asking Cruise as to what they were even talking about, to which Cruise revealed that it was nothing but a lecture from the artist on football.

“She was schooling me on football. For real. Like, she was bringing the football," Cruise said.

The actor praised her on The Tonight Show, calling her a “genius” who now knows her football, despite previously having little knowledge of the sport, after meeting Kelce. He also reflected on enjoying the Chiefs game with Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, and their friends, calling the experience memorable. He further shared that apart from the game, music and movies were naturally a part of their discussion.

And speaking of movies, Tom Cruise is set to have Digger released soon and he did not shy away from talking about it to Jimmy Fallon as well.

During the same conversation, Tom Cruise also discussed working with Alejandro González Iñárritu on Digger. He talked about the physical transformation, including a fat suit/prosthetics and false teeth, and performing a long 10-minute monologue in one take. 

"It was so much fun," Cruise said about his experience on Digger.
