Popstar Dua Lipa and British actor Callum Turner are having the time of their life after tying the knot in a modest ceremony held in London's Old Marylebone Town Hall in May. The couple then whisked away for a three-day celebration with family and friends in Palermo, Italy, and then ventured through the country for their honeymoon. Now that they are slowly getting back to their professional duties, Dua Lipa has opened up about their wedding in a recent interview.

The singer shared the best advice she and Callum Turner followed on their wedding day.

Dua Lipa and Callum Turner are right now emulating the newlywed energy too bright for the world's eyes. They reached this stage after knowing each other for just over two years. Early in 2024, Lipa and Turner began dating. In July 2024, they made their romance public, and less than two years later, they were married.

"Our wedding day was such a beautiful celebration," Dua told Vogue Italia in her first post-nuptial interview.

"People gave us lots of advice, but there were two suggestions that we really took on board,” the singer said and went on to list them.

The 'Training Season singer told Vogue Italia that the first was to spend that day as though they were guests as well, which would make them happier and less anxious. They also had to constantly search for one another among the crowd, never losing sight of one another. They truly have a lot of memories together in this way.

That was reflected in the photos that came from their wedding. Both looked happy and sported a wide smile throughout the ceremony. The love and chemistry were apparent, and what was even more apparent was that they were actually enjoying their big day instead of being anxiety-ridden all the time and stressing over every little detail.

This continued when the couple made their first red carpet debut after their wedding at the premiere of Callum Turner’s new rom-com earlier in August.

On August 3, the newlyweds, Dua Lipa and Callum Turner, graced the red carpet together for the very first time as husband and wife. It was for the premiere of Turner’s latest venture, One Night Only. Lipa looked stunning in a custom-made black Ferragamo gown with a structured skirt and a plunging neckline. Turner, on the other hand, looked sharp in a pale yellow shirt and a navy blue Louis Vuitton suit.

The premiere saw the continuation of the honeymoon phase of the newlyweds as Turner moved in to kiss his wife tenderly while posing for pictures on the red carpet. The film, which also stars Monica Barbaro, follows two New Yorkers on the one night of the year when having s** before marriage is permitted. It opens in theaters on Friday, August 7.
