An official Instagram post from Pixar has led the internet to believe that Taylor Swift is officially tied to the upcoming film. It is all the internet can talk about lately. The beloved franchise makes a return after nearly seven years, and what better way could there be to make a comeback than with Taylor Swift’s voice?

But it is not official yet, and everyone is eagerly waiting for Taylor Swift’s announcement today.

After being heavily surrounded by rumors of her alleged involvement in Toy Story 5, Taylor Swift is apparently almost ready to confirm it herself. The official announcement is about to come today, and her official website is the biggest indicator that directs one to this conclusion. Her website now shows a countdown with a “TS” logo in the background, with Jessie from the movie also dancing on a roof.

Notably, Taylor Swift placed a similar countdown that appeared to be Toy Story-coded on her website on April 30 and later withdrew it, nudging fans to believe that she was tapped for the movie. It also had white clouds, blue skies, and the same shade of yellow as the franchise's logo, just Jessie was missing then.

Additionally, fans observed that the release date of Toy Story 5, June 19, coincides with the 20th anniversary of her first single. Although the makers behind Toy Story 5 have denied that Taylor Swift has recorded the end-credit song for the movie, that does not mean she is not involved in the movie in some way.

This notion can be supported by the promotional materials for the film, strongly implying that there is a connection to Swift of some kind.

The Toy Story Instagram account shared pictures of several billboards promoting the film on Sunday. There are thirteen white clouds behind the initials, and they just say "TS". There are thirteen clouds in the post's caption as well. Interestingly, 13 akso happens to be a number that Taylor Swift has endorsed widely across her career. 

Before that, the Instagram account shared a video of Jessie from Toy Story dancing beneath a "TS" billboard with the message, "She’s making those moves up as she goes!" That alludes to the lyrics of Taylor Swift's popular song ‘Shake It Off.’ All these things point to Taylor Swift’s involvement in the movie, which has been kept under wraps so long for a big reveal. Whatever the truth behind these subtle hints, it will soon be disclosed by the singer herself.
