Seth Rogen and Jon Stewart Slam Kanye West Over Attempted “Comeback Tour”

If recent pop news is any indication then Kanye West is graduating top of his class from the chaotic headlines university. Just when the rapper had already reignited headlines by launching his 'Bully' album concert standing alone atop a massive 50-foot rotating half-sphere designed like Planet Earth, the headlines magnet has once again found himself dragged back into fresh backlash after Seth Rogen and Jon Stewart publicly slammed his attempted “comeback tour” during the Netflix Is a Joke festival.

And amid years of antisemitic controversies and public backlash, Ye’s name once again finds itself surrounded by fresh scrutiny instead of silence.

Pulling back memories of Kanye West’s explosive 2022 appearance on Alex Jones’ InfoWars show, where the rapper made multiple remarks praising Hitler, Seth Rogen recently reignited the controversy during the Netflix Is a Joke festival. While addressing the audience, Rogen sarcastically joked that he once faced more backlash for making critical comments about Jewish people than Ye did, before taking aim at the rapper’s controversial track ‘Heil Hitler’ and mocking how even Adolf Hitler himself might feel “torn” listening to it.

"What’s funny is I’ve said critical things about Jewish people; I think I got in more trouble than Kanye West did," Rogen told the audience, “I got a lot of s*** for what I said. I have no number one albums. I sometimes think what Adolf Hitler would think of the Kanye West song ‘Heil Hitler.’ I bet he’d be torn.” Rogen said at the Netflix Is a Joke festival.

Joining Rogen onstage alongside several other comedians, Jon Stewart also backed the criticism aimed at Kanye West. The Daily Show host bluntly dismissed Kanye’s past remarks defending Hitler, while sharply mocking the rapper for preaching forgiveness toward Hitler yet continuing to publicly hold grudges against Pete Davidson.

“He was like, ‘Hitler was misunderstood, we’ve got to forgive Hitler.’ And I’m like, I don’t think I need to listen to anybody who thinks Hitler needs to be forgiven but is still mad at Pete Davidson,”  Stewart added.

Did Kanye West Pass The Bar Exam In First Attempt? What Are The Rumors All About?

Although West’s controversies have often gone just as viral as his music itself, the rapper’s 2026 concert comeback has once again pulled massive attention toward Kanye's chaotic return to the global stage, especially with the rapper hitting notes that he had never hit before; his first Indian concert.

Everything to know about Kanye West’s India concert buzz

Originally scheduled for March 29, 2026, Kanye West has now locked May 23 for his first-ever India concert. Titled Ye Live in India, the massive event will take over New Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium at 8 PM after organisers reportedly pushed the original date due to geopolitical tensions and logistical issues. The concert will also bring Ye’s gigantic 360-degree “Globe Stage” to India, a towering 50-foot rotating Earth-inspired structure influenced by Akira.

Meanwhile, Ye’s wider 2026 comeback run continues expanding globally. The rapper already delivered record-breaking shows at SoFi Stadium earlier this year, while upcoming performances are now lined up for Georgia on June 12, Albania’s Tirana on July 11, and Italy’s RCF Arena on July 18. Even before the India concert officially begins, reports suggest over 45,000 tickets have already been sold for the New Delhi spectacle alone.

And while Seth Rogen and Jon Stewart’s remarks have once again dragged West back into controversy, Ye continues proving that backlash has rarely managed to weaken massive fandom surrounding both his music and stage spectacles.
