With its 116.2 million views, Michael decisively outpaced the opening launch numbers of several major music-focused hits, including Taylor Swift’s Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, which earned 96.1 million views.
On the other hand, the biographical film Bob Marley: One Love pulled in 60.1 million views, clearly demonstrating the sheer magnitude of the reaction to the Jackson trailer. It also represents the largest 24-hour trailer launch in Lionsgate’s history, surpassing even the monumental launch of John Wick: Chapter 4 by over fifty percent within its initial six hours. hinting at the unparalleled scope of the project.
