The 23-year-old actor, who is known for being quite secretive about his dating life, is no stranger to romance rumors and speculations. Now, a new rumor linking him to the ‘Brutal’ singer is making the rounds online.

Given the popularity of both the entities involved, fans are eager to decode all there is to know about Flynn Wolfhard and Olivia Rodrigo possibly dating.

The rumors of Finn Wolfhard and Olivia Rodrigo being romantically linked appear to be yet another baseless speculation, as the claim was posted by a parody account. Culture Cave, which shared the news, is an unofficial account that spreads random fandom rumors rather than factual information, as per its X account bio. Now, a similar incident happened a few weeks ago when Wolfhard was rumored to be dating his Stranger Things co-star Sadie Sink.

However, that also appeared to be a false rumor. The actor, who recently wrapped filming for Stranger Things, has often shared that his hectic schedule makes it difficult for him to date. For now, he seems mostly focused on his work, including his music and directing career.

"Maybe it's been subconsciously — what’s the word? — deliberate? — to not have a committed partner,” he told Variety.

Meanwhile, Rodrigo was rumored to have broken up with her boyfriend, Louis Partridge, in December 2025. Since then, she has sparked dating speculation after being spotted with Cameron Winter. However, she has neither commented on her reported breakup nor addressed any potential new relationship.

As for Wolfhard, apart from several fake dating rumors, the actor has also recently found himself caught up in unflattering speculation after his Met Gala appearance.

The Met Gala has always sparked chatter and controversy, whether it is about intricate, lavish gowns or celebrities allegedly breaking event rules. However, Finn Wolfhard unfortunately became part of a rather bizarre rumor this year. The claim initially circulated from a fan account, @clubwolfhard, which alleged that an A-list celebrity had confused Wolfhard for a waiter at the 2026 Met Gala and handed him an empty champagne glass for a refill. 

However, there is no official report confirming the story, suggesting that it may simply be another false rumor circulating online. Putting the odd speculation aside, the actor still made a perfect debut at the event in a custom look by Thom Browne. For now, it seems that the bizarre Met Gala story is an unverified speculation, and as for the dating rumors, until either star addresses the claims themselves, these viral rumors also remain fake.
