This Universal comedy movie series, Meet the Parents, follows the character Greg Focker, played by Ben Stiller, as he interacts with his family and in-laws, ending in hilarious situations. Joining him as the stable character of Jack Tiberius Byrnes will be Robert De Niro as one of the leads.

Ariana Grande is the freshest and the biggest inclusion, though broad details about her character are not known yet. Blythe Danner and Teri Polo, who have been part of the first three movies, are also expected to make a return to their established characters.

At the moment, the plot details are a tightly held secret. However, speaking to Variety recently, producer Jane Rosenthal shared that Ben Stiller is now the same age Robert De Niro was during the first movie. Now his children are all grown up and have come home to meet their parents. 

After the release of the first Meet the Parents in 2000, the movie proved to be a box office hit with impressive revenue of $330 million in the global box office. The success gave birth to two more sequels, Meet the Fockers in 2004 and Little Fockers in 2010, and the trilogy has earned a massive $1.13 billion at the global box office. Hopefully, the stories and the success will be repeated with the upcoming predecessor.

The fourth installment with this heavy star-studded cast is scheduled to be released on November 25, 2026, as announced by Universal. The actors, too, are involved in producing, as Robert De Niro will produce through Tribeca Productions, and Ben Stiller, along with John Lesher, will produce through Red Hour Films.
