The 2026 MTV Video Music Awards are heading back to Los Angeles, bringing the Moon Person spectacle to the Peacock Theater on September 27. With Snoop Dogg behind the hosting duties and Madonna opening the show, this year’s ceremony already has plenty of familiar VMA electricity. The night will also feature Nirvana receiving the Video Vanguard Award and Taylor Swift receiving the inaugural Artist Director Honors.

But the VMAs have always understood that a memorable awards show needs more than nominees waiting for their names to be called. Here is the full 2026 presenters lineup and what each name brings to the stage.

Teyana Taylor arrives at the 2026 VMAs with a résumé that already crosses music, dance, fashion and acting. Her Oscar-nominated performance in One Battle After Another has added another major chapter to a career that began in music and gradually expanded into increasingly prominent work on screen. That evolution makes her appearance at this year’s ceremony particularly fitting, given how often the VMAs have blurred the lines between music and the rest of pop culture.

The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reported that Taylor has joined the 2026 presenters, adding one of the ceremony’s most versatile recent crossover figures to the night. Rather than simply representing one corner of entertainment, Taylor brings years of experience moving between creative disciplines, from her early music career and dance background to her fashion influence and increasingly acclaimed acting work.

Taylor’s appearance also comes at an interesting point in her career because One Battle After Another has pushed her further into the awards conversation. It is another example of the ceremony bringing in personalities whose careers now extend well beyond the medium that first made them recognizable.

Charli xcx is almost tailor-made for the VMAs stage, where pop experimentation and visual identity have historically mattered as much as chart placement. Her recent VMA history includes four nominations in 2024, including Best Direction for ‘360,’ Best Editing for ‘Von Dutch,’ Best Art Direction and Best Trending Video.

Her 2026 appearance also lands during another major VMA chapter for the singer. Charli xcx has four nominations this year, including Best Pop and Best Art Direction for SS26, putting her firmly inside the competitive side of the ceremony even as she steps into the presenter role.

Belmont Cameli represents the acting side of this year’s presenter lineup. Known for Off Campus, he arrives alongside his co-star Ella Bright, giving the ceremony a little of the crossover casting that has become increasingly familiar at music awards shows.

His inclusion also makes sense within the wider 2026 lineup, which deliberately mixes established music names with actors and television personalities. The official CBS announcement confirms Cameli as one of the 13 presenters, although no specific award category has been announced for his appearance.

Alex Warren has a particularly neat VMA full-circle moment waiting for him. He performed ‘Ordinary’ and ‘Eternity’ at the 2025 ceremony and won Best New Artist that same night, turning his first VMA appearance into a major career marker.

Now he returns on the other side of the Moon Person equation as a presenter. His 2025 win followed nominations for Best New Artist, Best Pop and Song of the Year, making his transition from nominee and performer to presenter one of the clearest returning-storyline moments in this lineup.

Brandon Sklenar brings a television and film presence to a lineup otherwise packed with musicians. The 1923 star is among the names confirmed to take the stage, adding another recognizable screen face to the ceremony. His appearance nevertheless fits the VMAs tradition of pulling actors into the broadcast alongside artists.

Summer House star Ciara Miller is also heading to the Peacock Theater. Her inclusion gives the lineup a reality television connection, an arena that has long supplied the VMAs with personalities capable of bringing a different kind of pop-culture recognition to the stage. Miller joins a particularly broad presenter class this year, although MTV has not announced her specific category. 

David Corenswet brings superhero-scale recognition to the 2026 VMAs after starring as Superman. His inclusion gives the ceremony another major Hollywood name alongside the musicians and television personalities. His appearance adds an interesting layer to a ceremony already designed around major visual personalities, particularly with Taylor Swift receiving a new directing honor and Nirvana receiving the Video Vanguard Award.

Ella Bright joins the presenter lineup alongside her Off Campus co-star Belmont Cameli. Her appearance continues the ceremony’s effort to fold emerging television talent into a broadcast traditionally dominated by music’s biggest names.

Isabel May arrives at the VMAs with credits including 1883, giving the ceremony another recognizable television face. Her presence also continues the Western and prestige-TV thread running through the broader acting contingent. The official presenter announcement does not attach a specific category to May yet.

Jeff Probst is perhaps the most instantly recognizable television veteran among this year’s presenters. The longtime Survivor host brings decades of reality television experience to a ceremony that has always understood the value of a presenter who can command a live stage.  His appearance also gives the ceremony a familiar television-hosting energy before Snoop Dogg takes over the main hosting duties for his first VMA hosting stint.

Rachel Dratch brings a very different kind of comic pedigree to the lineup. The Saturday Night Live veteran has spent years moving between sketch comedy, television and film, making her a natural fit for an awards show that often leaves room for unexpected presenter chemistry.

Tyla is no stranger to the Moon Person. She won Best Afrobeats at both the 2024 and 2025 VMAs, taking the latter for 'PUSH 2 START' after winning the inaugural edition of the category with “Water” in 2024. Her 2026 role therefore marks another step in her VMA evolution, moving from award recipient to presenter. 

Troye Sivan also brings a strong VMA history into the room. His ‘Rush’ video was nominated for Best Choreography in 2024, placing him within the ceremony’s visual-performance conversation even before his 2026 presenter appearance. This year, he moves from nominee territory into presenter duties. 

The 2026 MTV VMAs will air live from Los Angeles on September 27, with Madonna opening the show, Snoop Dogg hosting and performers including LISA, RAYE, Shaboozey, Gunna, Sienna Spiro, GENER8ION and Yung Lean.
