The return of Keanu Reeves and Al Pacino to their iconic roles in this classic movie has sent fans into an absolute frenzy of excitement.

The Devil’s Duet: Keanu Reeves and Al Pacino All Set To Reprise Their Roles in This Iconic Movie

The audiences have had a long-standing obsession with courtroom dramas. From
Suits to Better Call Saul, something about fighting injustice and the plucky
plaintiffs and defendants kept everybody on their toes. The whole intrigue
behind the genre is the charm of unpredictability. While audiences have seen
several projects where legal has met comedy, justice, and even gangsters, there
has rarely been a collaboration between legal and supernatural. This
collaboration was almost as impossible as seeing Keanu Reeves and Al Pacino in
the same movie.

Taylor Hackford has forever etched himself as a genius in the memory of cinema
fans as he brought about a collaboration between Reeves and Pacino on screen. A
path that Reeves is now looking to replicate by bringing the masterpiece back.

KEANU REEVES TO BRING THIS HORROR CLASSIC BACK

According to an exclusive by Giant Freakin Robot
[https://www.giantfreakinrobot.com/ent/the-devils-advocate-2-reeves.html], the
John Wick actor is all set to reprise his role in The Devil’s Advocate 2 after
making the 1997’s The Devil’s Advocate a $150 Million blockbuster hit. He will
be reprising his role as attorney Kevin Lomax, the devil’s son, and alongside
him, Al Pacino is also rumored to reprise his role as John Milton, the devil.
Although the casting of Pacino is still not confirmed, due to his active
presence in the industry, he might make an appearance. However, this was not the
first time news of a sequel has made waves.

Since its original release in 1997, filmmakers have made several attempts to
create a sequel to The Devil’s Advocate. This was confirmed by the novelist
Andrew Neiderman in 2014 during his interview with the International Business
Times, where he mentioned he was working on the prequel novel Judgment Day. With
almost a decade having passed since then, fans are beyond excited to see what
the sequel holds.

This news caused a frenzy among the fans who were eagerly waiting for Reeves to
don a lawyer’s gown once again. They also wondered who else was reprising their
roles.

WHICH CHARACTERS WILL MAKE A COMEBACK?

While it will be interesting to watch Keanu Reeves reprise his role as a badass
lawyer in the horror flick, fans wonder which other characters might also make a
surprise return. In the first movie, Charlize Theron portrayed Kevin Lomax’s
wife, skillfully depicting her struggles with mental issues. They might have
approached her for the sequel. Connie Nielsen, who played Christabella, Kevin
Lomax’s seductive half-sister, although she did not survive the events of the
first movie, could potentially have made a comeback.

While the movie’s release date remains unconfirmed, the fact that it’s already
in production raises the possibility of fans receiving a tentative release date
soon. Given that Keanu Reeves’ latest venture was a bombastic success

and the very fact that the movie is the sequel to the cult favorite Devil’s
Advocate, the expectations are quite high. Only time will tell if the devil’s
second attempt at advocating will prove to be successful.
