Chris Hemsworth is used to throwing himself into dangerous situations on the big screen, but this time, it was his daughter India who had him cheering from the sidelines. The actor recently shared footage of his 14-year-old daughter competing in a youth bull-riding event, where she became the only girl in the competition and ultimately took home the win.

And if the Thor star thought seven seconds was enough, India was quick to remind him that she knew the rules better.

Chris Hemsworth is proud of his "savage" daughter after bull-riding win

Taking to his X, Chris Hemsworth shared two clips of India Hemsworth riding the bull like a pro.

Just wanna say my daughter is a savage. Only girl in the comp and took home the win 💪 proud moment ❤️,” he wrote in his X post.

The first clip showed India entering the arena on a bucking bull and managing to stay on for a strong eight seconds, the bare minimum to receive a qualified score. The footage appeared to capture a junior rodeo competition, with spectators watching from around the dirt arena.

Hemsworth followed it with a much more personal clip from before the event, showing him walking alongside India and cheering her on. He called her a “champion bull rider” before asking how she was feeling and whether she could hang on for seven seconds.

India immediately corrected him, telling him it was eight seconds.

“Eight seconds. What do I know?” Hemsworth joked. The achievement adds another adventurous hobby to India’s growing list. Hemsworth has previously shared footage of his daughter riding a dirt bike, including clips of her jumping over a large hill.

But while India was busy proving she could handle a bucking bull, her dad is preparing to face something considerably more Marvel-sized.

Chris Hemsworth is ready for Avengers: Doomsday

Chris Hemsworth will soon be trading his proud-dad duties for another return as Thor in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday. The film is set to hit theaters on December 18, 2026, with Hemsworth reprising his role as the God of Thunder.

The upcoming Avengers installment brings together heroes from three distinct universes as they face an existential threat, with Robert Downey Jr. returning to the MCU in a very different role as Victor von Doom. The cast also includes the Fantastic Four and returning X-Men characters, making the latest Avengers adventure a particularly massive multiverse affair.

Hemsworth’s Thor, who has been malleable as ever under different directors, is already featured prominently in the movie’s promotional material, including the first trailer, where he faces off against Doctor Doom and takes on a leadership role among the assembled heroes.

So, while India has already demonstrated that she can hold on for the full eight seconds, her father has a somewhat bigger challenge ahead: helping save the multiverse when Avengers: Doomsday arrives this December.
