‘Monarch: Legacy of Monsters’ Season 2 – Meet the Cast Behind the Monster Verse Show

Monsters are returning soon to attack and wreak havoc once more. The terror seen in the first season of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is set to expand in its second installment, introducing new creatures and fresh horrors. Alongside the towering giants, there will be new menaces such as scarabs, which are smaller in size but equally lethal 

And with these new monsters and spine-chilling threats, both new and familiar faces are expected to be seen in Season 2. So, before the nightmare descends, meet the stars behind the upcoming chapter of the Monsterverse.

Kurt and Wyatt Russell: The father and son duo will return to the repirse their role of Lee Shaw, in the Apple TV+ series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season 2. Both played the same role in the first season, and the same goes for the upcoming series. While Wyatt Russell has appeared in Thunderbolts, Kurt Russell is known for his roles in Tombstone and The Christmas Chronicles.

Anna Sawai as Cate Randa: Anna Sawai is a Japanese actress who has worked in projects like F9 and Ninja Assassin. 

Kiersey Clemons as May Olowe-Hewitt: He has appeared in Sweetheart and Am I Okay.

Ren Watabe as Kentaro Randa : Many might know Ren Watabe from 461 Days of Bento.

And if Kurt Russell’s recent claim is any indication, the monsters in the new series are more dangerous than anything that has been seen so far.

Kurt Russell hints at a deadly threat in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season 2

Kurt Russell, who plays the role of Lee Shaw, recently sat in an interview with MovieWeb. When asked about what he learnt about his characters after filming the new series, Russell compared his characters to Alice in Wonderland. At the same time, he hinted at the new threat, 

"I think primarily he's someone who's trying to see the point of view that especially Keiko has... as Alice went down the rabbit hole in the first year, in the second year, [Keiko] comes out, and he's able to come back,” he said.

He further added, “And with them comes this thing that's even worse than Kong, or looks and appears to be worse than Kong and Godzilla.”

And the newest season will indeed see the rise of a deadly aquatic monster, Titan X. Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 2 is clearly returning to plunge deeper into the heart of fear and monsterverse. And it is set to arrive on February 27 on Apple TV.
