We gathered everything together we know about Netflix's Shadow and Bone so far, including its synopsis, release date, cast, trailer, and more.

Everything We Know About ‘Shadow and Bone’ So Far

Shadow and Bone series is the highly-anticipated since the first moment Netflix
announced. Based on the bestselling fantasy book series by author Leigh Bardugo,
the upcoming fantasy streaming television series has first pulled viewers’
attention with its trailer and glimpses along with raising the expectation. So,
we gathered everything we know about Shadow and Bone so far, including its
synopsis, release date, cast, and trailer. Let’s look at what we got together.

When the matter is to create fantasy shows, nobody can blame Netflix for not
providing quality content for its subscribers, at all. I mostly claim this by
leaning on examples such as The Witcher, Stranger Things, Fate: The Winx Saga,
and much more. And now, there is not much doubt for Shadow and Bone joining
among those fine additions. We also count on a little to all goodies we have
been provided till now. Also, the truth of the Oscar-nominated screenplay writer
serving on the upcoming show is another reason to be excited and a whole
promise, anyway.

WHAT IS THE SYNOPSIS OF SHADOW AND BONE?

The story follows an orphan mapmaker and lowly soldier named Alina Starkov who
unleashes an extraordinary power. With that power, she might be able to set her
country in a wartorn world free. So, she requires training in order to become a
magical soldier, Grisha, in an elite army.

Here’s the official synopsis:

“Based on Leigh Bardugo’s worldwide bestselling Grishaverse novels, Shadow and
Bone find us in a war-torn world where the lowly soldier and orphan Alina
Starkov has just unleashed an extraordinary power that could be the key to
setting her country free. With the monstrous threat of the Shadow Fold looming,
Alina is torn from everything she knows to train as part of an elite army of
magical soldiers known as Grisha.

But as she struggles to hone her power, she finds that allies and enemies can be
one and the same and that nothing in this lavish world is what it seems. There
are dangerous forces at play, including a crew of charismatic criminals, and it
will take more than magic to survive.”
