Barbarians Season 2 Release Date and Synopsis

Barbarians is coming to Netflix with its second season. When will the second
season of the popular German series come?

Netflix [https://netflixjunkie.com/category/originals/] continues to rapidly
increase the number of international productions, one of the best examples of
this is the Barbarians, which released on October 23, 2020. The first season of
the Barbarians comprised 6 episodes, placing it at the top of the list of most
watched on Netflix in 46 countries, including America.

Although the series was originally launched as a mini-series, the end of the
first season gave the message that the second season was coming. So what do we
know about the second season of the Barbarians series?

WHEN WILL BARBARIANS SEASON 2 RELEASE ON NETFLIX?

Netflix has approved the second season of Barbarians. Also, Netflix announced on
its Germany Twitter account that the production process of season 2 started in
Budapest.

However, we may have to wait a little longer to watch the second season of the
series. Because the shooting process of the series takes quite a long time and
COVID-19 makes these things difficult. We will be able to watch the new season
of the series by the end of 2021 with the most optimistic forecast, and most
possible in 2022.

WHAT IS THE SYNOPSIS OF THE BARBARIANS SEASON 2?

After the finale of the 1st season, many questions remained in mind and the
audience eagerly awaited the new season. The Roman Empire fell to the Arminius,
Thusnelda, and Germanic tribes. Although Netflix has not yet made a statement
about the synopsis of season 2, this is a historical drama and we need to look
at the history books to predict season 2.

If you’ve never watched the TV series Barbarians, we can explain its story to
you.

The Barbarians set in Germany in AD 9 is a dramatization of the events that led
to the battle of the Teutoburg Forest, in which Germanic tribes confronted three
legions of the Roman Empire. This war is seen as crucial as it stopped Rome from
spreading to northern Europe. However, the essence of the series is the
friendship of three Germanic children who separated during the Roman occupation
and found each other again years later.
