And recently, a fan shared an iconic fight scene from the series celebrating 18 years since it happened.

The user KamikazeXD brought back the intense battle between Sasuke and Naruto on his Twitter account. He was all praises for the scene as he wrote in caption, “The animation is still crazy even to this day.” He called Norio Matsumoto a true genius for executing the scene perfectly. Meanwhile, Naruto fans had a similar reaction to the iconic scene as well.

A number of users in the comments were hyped to see such an iconic scene back after all these years, claiming how “it was peak from the start.” While a handful called it the greatest fight in anime history, others were shocked to see how the scene aged so well.

One user even revealed that he used that particular scene every time he made an anime music video. Elsewhere, Naruto fans hyped up the scene in the comments.

While the season 3 fight sequence still remains a fan-favorite, the tournament arc from the show has a special place in every fan’s heart. But the creator once revealed how it almost didn’t happe.

It might surprise you to know but the creator of the show revealed that he never wanted to write the Chunin Exam arc. As per reports by CBR, Masashi Kishimoto revealed how he never wanted to write the tournament arc. However, the editors asked Kishimoto to write it even if it kills him and the rest is history.
