Season 3's first tense arc spans manga chapters 137 to 143 and follows Yuji as a target for execution by Yuta Okkotsu under grim orders. Next comes the Perfect Preparation Arc, comprising 14 chapters (chapters 144-158), per Games Radar, which spares some spotlight on the Zenin clan IT-girl Maki. It also prepares the sorcerers for the colossal Culling Game arc. 

The Culling Game story arc is large and vicious and would almost cover the entire chapters 159 to 221 in the manga, becoming the heart of Season 3. Essentially, it is a battle-royale style death tournament, which may not leave every key player alive. This arc lays down intriguing and entangled storylines that will lead further into the biggest conflict and deepen inter-character dynamics further. 

Launched by the ancient sorcerer Kenjaku, with the most brutal rules laid down by him, every confrontation turns into a morally and strategically complex, fatal fight. This arc will not only showcase chaotic battles but also introduce new curses, players, and ancient sorcerers, setting up for the final phase of the series, the Shinjuku Showdown Arc, i.e., the ultimate battle between unsealed Gojo Satoru and Ryomen Sukuna, raising anticipation off the roof.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3's The Culling Game Part 1 is expected to be released in two parts(cours)rts, with the first two episodes premiering on January 8, 2026. Its second half will come later in the year.
