The world has never been short on anime that swing swords, hurl magic, or generally behave as though physics were a polite suggestion. What is scarce, in this crowded coliseum, is stamina—and fewer still last more than a season without collapsing theatrically. Baki Hanma endures by refusing fantasy altogether, choosing instead the noble art of combat.

This time, Baki Hanma is back with a historic showdown. The new series, Baki Dou: The Invincible Samurai, based on Keisuke Itagaki’s hit manga franchise BAKI,  is said to be released on Netflix on February 26, 2026.  The series’ plot pushes its mythology to bring back the strongest historical icon but it is the voice actors that bring the series to the global forefront.
