Love her or not, it is hard to ignore the massive impact Taylor Swift had culturally and financially last year. Given her successful Eras Tour, her mastery of the Billboard charts, and her billion-dollar empire, it is safe to say that 'Karma' is working overtime for Taylor Swift. With her constant presence in pop culture and her successful re-recording of albums- Swift's fame and success are undeniable. But none of this happened overnight; there was a significant hustle. And recently, a fellow pop star gave Swift a shout-out for this hustle.

A member of the country-pop band Rascal Flatts recently commended the songstress for her "work ethic" which was instrumental in her rise as one of the world's top musicians.

In an episode of Riggle's Picks podcast, musician Jay DeMarcus recalled the time he had the “privilege” of attending Taylor Swift's first tour. He described the experience of seeing Swift perform as otherworldly, something that was difficult to put into words. DeMarcus also highlighted Swift's involvement in every aspect of the tour from the very beginning. “I've never seen anybody that has the work ethic that she has”, said the ‘Gospel’ producer. DeMarcus also took a stroll down memory lane to Swift’s early days in the industry.

Troy Tomlinson at Sony shared with DeMarcus that when Swift landed her first deal, she was just 12 or 13 years old, yet she already had a “defined vision”. The 52-year-old described Swift as a “maniac” when it comes to songwriting. But maybe she needed that crazy dedication to achieve her current stature. Adding to her growing list of feats, Swift is on the verge of breaking another record.

As the spotlight danced upon it during the Eras Tour, 'Cruel Summer' became one of Taylor Swift's most beloved songs. Recently, a report came to light announcing that 'Cruel Summer' is a mere 100 million streams away from hitting 2 billion streams on Spotify. It is set to become Taylor Swift's first song to cross this mark in under four weeks, an achievement that will surely leave a mark in her musical history.

Last year, after its ascent into Billboard’s Top 10 in July, the ‘Lover’ track became the No. 1 on the list. It was the 10th chart-topper on the Hot 100 chart of Billboard. Yet, reaching two billion streams would be a historic milestone for the songstress. With her tireless "work ethic", as explained by Jay DeMarcus, her list of accomplishments is likely to only burgeon further in the forthcoming years.
